Healthy, Wealthy & Loving Life

So how did you get on with the
challenge I set you? Did you make a list of 90 things that need
doing? Did anyone get more? Did anyone get less? If it was difficult
to write down 90, can any of the things you have on your list be broken down
into more achievable portions. One
example of this on my list of 100 is my
closet. At first I wrote down “clean out closet” and had two
sub-categories of “sort old clothes and throw away those that cannot be
recycled” and “Take good clothing to organization that can use it.” I realized
that this was a major task and so I
broke it down into smaller chunks –
Sort through pants; sort through blouses; sort through t-shirts;
etc. I am really
inspired by having this list and am actually ahead of the curve. Of my 100 I
have already highlighted (Completed)
17 items some of which I had been procrastinating about since February. I was
given the idea of highlighting more>>

I found out something this week that I didn’t know and it
really surprised me. I have recommended using the “Nutritional Facts” printed on food
packaging in previous newsletters as a good way to know what we are consuming
into our bodies when we eat prepared food. I usually scan over the Nutritional
content and % daily values to make my judgment about a food.
So
here’s the thing that surprised me! more>>

I have had several people ask about my spelling. Especially the way I spell
Mum. Let me take a sentence or two to answer the critics. My Mum, Liz, was
born and grew up in England
and they have funny ways of spelling over there. They
also have some very different meanings for some of the words we all use. Mum
wears a fanny pack when she takes me for a walk. It has bags to clean up after
me, a cell phone, her house keys, and, if I am lucky, some training treats for
me if I am good. If she said she was going to put on a fanny pack in
England they
would think she was being very rude and vulgar. Anyway that‘s why I sometimes
spell her “Mum” and at other times
“Mom.”
My Mum was a bit excitable this morning
(Saturday). She woke up early (as she usually does) and got all excited because
it was raining. We live in the San
Francisco Bay area and
haven’t seen rain since April – I think. Mum did threaten to take me out for my
walk while it was still raining but I climbed into bed with my Dad and refused
to budge. more>>
